A-PDF Photo Exif Editor shows you all the EXIF and IPTC tags stored in your JPEG and TIFF images. EXIF tags provide you with useful information about where and how a particular photograph was taken, and this program will help you to keep that information accurate and complete. You can change any of the existing values, delete some of them, and even erase all EXIF tags at once (for the sake of privacy).
EXIF tags store a large amount of useful and interesting information about your photographs, a fact that can be both good and bad. Good for obvious reasons – it can tell you when the snapshot was taken, the orientation of the camera, the make of that camera, the lens you used, the resolution and the exposure, to name a few. Bad, if you make your beautiful photos public and they land in the wrong hands – they will know where you have been and when, what kind of equipment you can afford, etc. That is why it is always convenient to have a means to edit and even erase this information. This is the kind of functionality that A-PDF Photo Exif Editor offers you – you will be able to change the value stored in any EXIF/IPTC tag, delete the tag or just leave it blank, and even erase all EXIF information stored in a particular image.
The program’s interface has been designed to help you have all the information you need in one single window. There you will see a thumbnail of the image selected and all the tags (if any) associated with it. This information can be exported easily to an XML file, which you can then use as a backup, in case you delete all the EXIF information accidentally.
Images can only be loaded and dealt with one at a time, which may be a nuisance when you need to perform a repetitive task on a long list of image files (erase all tags, add the make of your camera, etc.). The good thing is that this minimizes the chances of deleting the EXIF tags of the wrong photograph, though.
